Holy F*ck!!

EFI was spot-on, even after he changed the pipes and removed the emissions doohickey. Traction was all day long even though he was running 18 psi to avoid pinch flats. Stock suspension won't need much work for a 180-200 lb guy. With a Tubliss system and a Rekluse, that bike will eat up single track. Yet I still think one could slap some UHD tubes in, change the gearing a bit, add some luggage and longer fuel legs, and dual sport all day as well.
I would love one of these. Sadly, my wife made it pretty clear after the 1190 came to live in my garage, she has some remodeling/redecorating that is going to be done before any more bikes are purchased. She's a good woman, she let me have the new bike first.

Talking

Finally back to a computer with a couple ride photos.
Unfortunately my "adv" camera finally bit the dust at the most opportune moment, right as Andre was baby seal'ing it out of the water. Bummer...

Kevin about to show Andre and I the correct line...

Andre looking for rock trolls

Kevin making the save in the mud (don't ask how long it took him to realize the strap had broken part way back and Andre wasn't behind him)

Good times, Thanks Andre for making it happen

Nope, I'm a cheapskate trying to pay his house off. A 19 year old XR is just fine.

Do you have any time constraints? My house goes up for re-rent August 1, so I want to be in SLC around that time to take care of any renter bullshit, then bail to ride.

Sounds good. I will know later this week what dates would work best. I don't have a schedule anymore, for the most part, and could take a month off and ride to Nicaragua if need be.
