Plus as a Suzuki owner he should be sympathetic to Hick's needs.

Just in case, "Paging Dumbgirl to the Courtesy Lounge"

Well played!

I just dropped off the engine at LMR. Their tech said the replaced head gasket had likely failed again, and it may be because the first one was not installed properly.

They think I will need:
A valve job $
New cylinder $$$
New Piston $$$
New piston rings $$
New water pump $
New thermostat - completely warped from heat $
I may need an entire new cylinder head as the bolts got so hot that I cannot remove one of them. $$$$

The lower engine looks good, however.

The good news is that before I dropped the engine off, I got a call from Vernal Sports Center. They have gone to bat for me with the Suzuki rep.

Does anyone know if there is a road with a curve(s) in it open anywhere?

It's on my watch list. If the rebuild looks like it's going to be $$$, I am prepared to start bidding.

What fucked up far-right-religious-cult-of-christ-following society is this where the foreign guy with no family in the country has plans for Easter Sunday and the locals are all going riding?

Early Sunday ride then?

Damn...I know I'll end up missing it if Saturday ends up going according to plan....damn coeds....

Anyone up for a Saturday ride? Roads will be curvy and wet, just the way they should be!

You got the wrong board, pal. This is a far-left-religious-cult-of-bike-following society. Try the Deseret News Board.

Whut time is din-din? Pick a number...

Hwy 199 past Rush Valley (Lookout Pass???) is twisty & open. That dumps you out in beautiful Dugway!

Too bad you missed the head job...Looks like Hick is going to get one...Lucky guy!

Doesn't sound very good hick but at least the bottom end is okay. Why did they say you need a new cylinder? I would hit the dealer and suz up for free parts and tell them you'll take care of the labor. If you give a little they may give more.

Pluric get your mind out of the gutter we are talking about giving parts here not what goes on at your candy store.

Our plans to go out of town this weekend came to a halt when my f250 decided to drop an injector. So we ended up at 5 mile and it's great out there.
