Those are handy. I did a similar set up on my KLR



It's just not worth becoming Harcus's bitch over a gallon of gas.

I kinda wonder if Skifast really ran out of gas. I think he just liked
the whole thought of paybacks. Ewwww

OK I need some help with installing new lights on the GS. I'm selling my neighbors 1200GT and he is giving me his aux lights, fog and driving. I know very little about electrical. He has his lights hooked up the crazy way where you push in both blinkers and the lights come on, that stuff. Anyone willing to help? or should I just take it to R and R.

I would recommend a simple fused relay with a toggle switch. That would be really easy to install. If you need help, get the lights all installed where you want them, and then say when your ready.

I'm not sure about any tricks specific to BMW bikes, but I installed a relay on my bike for the heated grips and 12v outlets so I'd not forget them on while the bike was parked and it took me only about 1hr to get all the wiring done.

Like pluric said, just mount the lights and if possible find a route for the wires into a location close to the battery. The rest is easy.
