Hey Pluric,

Might you be available for a bit of welding on Saturday morning or afternoon. I will have just gotten finished with a 24 hour shift and some power tools and volatile substances might be just the way to keep me awake

My Rhino hop up parts are suppose to be in Friday. Planning on a Saturday
tear down for the clutch sleave replacement and CDI upgrade.

Let's do it early 9:00 ish or somewhere near that.

What did you decide on the Pony Express?

I am down for the PET on Sunday.

I suspect we will need some extra hardware for the trailer - should I get this first, or do you want to look at the trailer first to make a recommendation on how we should proceed?

Also, it is supposed to rain all day Saturday. Should I bring the trailer over Friday and cover it with a tarp so it is dry?

I don't quite know what you're planning on doing with the trailer so
hard to advise. Bring it over we'll work it out. Not worried if it's dry
or not.

I'm surprised no one has said "Get a PM would'ja"

So Br, does this mean you and Chris Crocker are no longer an item?

You think the GS crowd is a little sensitive, try smacking on Orange.

That's the true beauty of the KLR, I know it's shit, you know it's shit,
so what is there to talk about? Your shit is shittier than my shit???

I give. Call out the support truck......

Yes, indeed. Nice ride; I've done it dozens of times on a bicycle over the years but only once on a motorcycle. Best is mid-week when there's not much, if any, traffic. Lots 'o twistys near the bottom, not so much near the top when coming from the north. The south-facing climb (from Nephi) is much steeper than going up from Payson. On a motorcycle, though, I guess it dosen't make much difference.

It's a great ride.

However, as stated previously, I also doubt it is open over the top. It's likely that the lower gates are open, but I'm quite sure there's still plenty of snow over the top. This is, after all, the third highest paved road in Utah; only the Mirror highway and one other paved road (can't remember where, though) is higher in elevation.

Yea, I just checked the Utah DOT website to see if it's open. Unfortunately, since the Nebo loop isn't a state highway, UDOT dosen't track it. However, they project the Alpine loop (which tops out at 8060') won't open before the first of June, and the Nebo loop is 9320'. It's usually well into June before you can count on the Nebo loop being snow-free at the top.
