Hick! You get the "Best EVER Adv salute" award. That 90 mph around a corner left hand under the right arm shit made me laugh out loud as you went by!!

The BRPooter will need to borrow your 230 to keep up..........?

I'm kinda skeered to ride with Hick these days.......unless I bring the XRR........it doesn't have keys.........

I don't think he's worried about keeping up.

I think he's worried about getting away: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=483907

Back on topic,

Anyone with experience welding or repairing plastic?

The rear fender of my SE was melted by the nuclear generator also known as the stock KTM pipe, and has since cracked. I have tried superglue, Gorilla Glue and epoxy for plastic and although it seems to do the trick, It always cracks again.

Id stop drill it for now, just to keep it from getting larger. Harbor freight has a cheapo little plastic welding kit that Ive used and works ok.

Harbor freight carries a cheap welder that comes with several different types of rod. I've had some good luck repairing fuel tanks with it.

I'm only free from Aug 7th through Aug 15th. One group will be too early, another too late. I guess I'm SOL for any multi-day DS rides this season.

That drop-off from the right of the single track looks pretty steep.

So what is the verdict on the new tires?

The verdict is still out on the tires. I was riding like shit, had no energy and couldn't seem to get anything right. When I got home I found out I had a 99.9 fever and have been pretty much laid up since the ride. Fucking swine flu.

Hopefully this weekend I'll get some real testing done.
