Traversing the San Pitch Mountains (near Nephi) from north to south tomorrow (wednesday), then returning via the valley roads or perhaps back track to recon single track if anyone wants to go.

Google Earth makes it look like it's mostly on or near the ridge. Looks fast and easy.....

Hoping to check out single track options in the area too, but the Manti-LaSal map doesn't cover the Sanpitch, so I'm not sure if the trails are moto legal or not.

Man, don't you have a freaking job?

I am off to Fresno for the remainder of the week, then to St. Louis next week. But I will have some time to ride on Sunday if anyone is interested.

Head for the temple and then turn up towards the "B" on the mountain. There is an unloading area at the end of the street.

I work three days a week, so I ride a lot on the weekdays.

Didn't make it to the Sanpitch and can't afford a dual sport bike, so I went to AF in dual sport mode instead.

Mueller Park has 8 miles of single track, but it's very crowded with hikers/bikers and you will get the stink eye for sure.

At the parking lot, head south to the trail that goes to the opening above the parking lot.

From there, there's a trail that goes parallel to skyline and meets it further up the ridge at the next parking lot.

Or.....follow skyline up until you get to the parking lot on the left, you'll notice that accross the skyline dr. there's a trail heading downhill on the east side of skyline. Follow it down and you'll end up at the above mentioned opening/parking lot.
