--------------------------------- Here's a video from the Paiute ride last weekend. Had to put it to Johnny Cash, so i can't YouTube it for copywright issues. 20MB download, so don't try if you're on dial up! http://www.xmission.com/~slcorganics/kev/paiute_0001.wmv

It's my first day
Hey fellas
my name is traeden. im relatively new to the motorcycle world. in a nutshell i my brother had an old 1983 BMW R80RT down in san francisco and said if i could make it home i could have it. so after takinga 2 day course and getting my license i flew down there and had my maiden voyage home (tahoe is awesome to ride through) so i'm currently trying to fix my bike because some D-bag in my apartment complex messed it up because i park in car spaces....) so this is a shout out to anyone who knows people that would be beneficial to get to know that 1. are savvy when it comes to mechanical work on older airheads and 2. that like to go on rides so when i get my bike fixed ill be in the know. feel free to give me an email with any details at traeden.nord@gmail.com thanks. |

Next time you are on your GS look down. Those two big things sticking out to hit rocks and trees are air cooled cylinders for your boxer motor. Your other BMW POS has the water cooled brick motor. Just follow the yellow brick road scarecrow, the wizard will help you.

Ride Saturday?
Anyone wanna ride on Saturday? Some kind of one-day ride from SLC, suitable for big but knarly bikes. Some highway/ freeway is ok.... Skyline drive? Soapstone/ Iron Mine? Whitney Reservoir?

Which one of you bitches is gonna ride with Ryman and I this weekend?
I will leave tomorrow afternoon. My folks have laid out the welcome mat for anyone who wants to camp in their yard. They do have a wedding happening in part of the yard on Saturday night, but we won't be in each other's way. My wife is headed out in the cage and can haul gear if you don't want to pack everything on your bike. We can take care of the food once we are out there. Call me if you are interested and we can arrange a place to meet. ate-0-one.ate-7ven-niner. 0ne-0ne-5ve-7ven |
