Oh yes, harcus and I showed for the show.

And I'd like to say THANKS to the folks who brought those bikes for demo's.... I couldn't ride any the first time they did this and today made up for that.

Quick review by the Infidel:

K1300GT...............

sweet...........

I know where my K12 replacement savings fund will be directed.....
I really liked the expanded cockpit...my 190 cm frame fit it pretty nicely....and thanks to the riser on the seat....that's the best riding position and space I've experienced on a stock set up...the power range is expanded way past my K12.........the suspension is also improved while the ability to switch suspension settings on the run is totally outrageous......never had a chance to kick in the electronic cruise so I can only imagine........but the bike rides and handles increments above it's size........I'll be interested to see how it holds up with longer term reviews because it has some complex systems on it..........

Then harcus and I switched on a two-for-one deal and I ran the F800GS for a few miles......

Smoother than the single cylinder Dakar with good suspension travel........but tuned more for the road in it's stock form than the Koolaid SE......it could use much different gearing to make it more dirty.....it certainly handles and rides like a smaller bike rather than the bigger GS's....hmmmmmmmmmmm..........

Once the demo was ridden, it was great to sit and chew the fat over the bikes whilst chewing a burger.... ..........thanks again to Keith and the crew for a really enjoyable opportunity.....and tell the rennsport guy to get to work............

No pics of the ride afterwards 'cause I had to pick up my camera on my way home.........forgot it at my sis's house last night..........

Looking forward to the DS crowd posting more pics of the "Keyless Adventure" due to Hick's propensity for key storage in dark, smelly sites......

Glad to see you guys made it home GISkev. Nice pics. Sorry I had to bail on a morning ride, but next time you're in V town I'll give you the grand tour.

I want the GPX file for that too! That looks like fun. If you need my e-mail address I can send it to you in a private message.

ScottG, if you can see the tracks on your computer, I can help you. Otherwise, it'd be hard to show to get the data from a GPS as I have no idea what yours even looks like! GISkev is the GPS guru here, he might be able to help out.
