Trail starts around 6,500ft. At present, you can ride half of it. It won't melt out to the top this year unless because the upper switchbacks face north and get very little direct sun. Worth it? Maybe if you're doing a ride over Big Cottonwood Canyon and you want to check it out on the way.

The Stansbury Front single track might be dry. You'll drive right by it on your way to SLC from the west.
Looks great.. Is that pic from the Stansbury front trail? Anyone have a map of the trail?

Yes, that is the Stansbury Trail. No map needed. Just google the info to the trailhead, then ride north or south.

Bummer... Gotta shield up, Terra buddy! Matter of priorities I guess, and a wife'll shift 'em.

Hickster, I can be ready as early as 8. Whatever's convenient ... maybe somewhere on the way, I'll buy. I don't know if you can stoop your breakfast-kingly-ness so low as the BK at State and 90th S (just W of State)...

You say the time.

Made the 5-mile to Cherry Creek loop. There is a ton of riding out there.

Hey for anyone looking for some winter gear, I picked up a Gore Tex XTR jacket at Honda Suzuki of SLC yesterday for $115. These bad boys usually go for well over $300 or $400. The only down side, is they say Polaris on them. They have 2 red and one black XL left, and they are making deals!

I wore it today over a fleece and was toasty in the highway and didn't feel constricted like I usually do with motorcycle jackets. I also put it through the test by by crashing twice in the rocks - I only did this to test the jacket

It held up fine - better than my pants.

Hey I need some riding buddies

I just bought myself a BMW F650GS I live in Orem and have been up West Mountain and Over into the area between Springville and Strawberry, as well as a few other places here locally. (I am always looking for new loops to ride) I need some friends that I can go to Moab and St. George with some time later this winter and anyone that wants to go to 5 mile because I haven't been there yet either. My wife has a Trail 90 and we also have a little TW200 so if there is anyone that wants to do some less agressive riding I am down with that to. Multi day desert long distance I am up for anything just send me a message and we will figure something out.

Thanks

Ty

I am beginning to worry about you. Every post, you note multiple crashes. Are you attempting to replace Frog as the Crash Queen?
