I'm running about 60mi to empty in bad conditions around 80mi desert running.
I've been using Klotz Super techni-plate and have had good results. Plus changing the top end is easier that adjusting the valves on some 4 strokes. They put a heavy flywheel on this model so the power band is a little broader, but she'll still do 5th gear wheelies @65mph.

[/quote] I think it's awesome! I have always wanted to dual sport a big bore 2 stroke. I had a YZ 490 that was a blast to ride. The things that kept me away were limited range, high rebuild frequency and always having to carry 2-stroke oil. I think it would be a blast to ride up a twisty paved canyon . Just have to watch the power band

A1one riding a Honda 250x without a stabilizer and GISkev riding a Honda xr650r just got back from the Knolls sand dunes riding with Fano riding a KTM450 and Dumb Girl rides her KTM250. Near the end of the day another rider Troy flipped Fanos Husaberg. The bike empowered itself to wheelie and do power donuts without its rider while scattering pieces of the bike into orbit!

Fano, I owe you a sandwich!

Ya'll rock! here's first swing at the helmet cam vid... let me git some dinner and I'll load up the SD card that contains me going highside and rolling w/ cam in the sand... too bad i didn't get the Hussy garage sale! I did nearly run over each of you since ya gotta tailgate to get good footage. Din Din now while the other footage downloads, but till then, here's a quickie!

I think Troy was trying to hint me something to upgrade my Husaberg to a newer model. He tried to break it into pieces in front of us, but the bike didn't like it and took off on its own.

I bet he wants me to get this one.

Hmmm. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.

Having the kickstarter on the wrong side just wasn't enough for husaberg so they flipped then engine.
