GISKev^^^^You got the weather window. We cancelled our trip later this week.
Cool pic. Jealous. But at least the skiing and air quality is bound to improve this week. Looks nice. Edit:you took your pics down. Nabbed one. |

No snow in SLC, so a little surfing at camp!

Day 1 was 70 miles, but the slot cyn is closed to motors. (yes Trackhead, the gpx i sent is a no go.) Day 2 was 110 miles and i was happy to not die in the desert. Think about it. You're 80 miles from the truck and it's 2pm.... your best option is to go 35 miles the wrong direction so you can hit roads that "appear" to be faster on the map. It worked. glad i'm not on the top of Mud Mtn still. (the ruts made it a definite possibility!)

We returned to camp each night just before dark, luckily enough.

All in all, a great time, and no one died in the wilderness (but we thought about it.)

Hey Kev, we found the "No Motorized Vehicles" sign in the slot canyon on Sat too! Very disappointing...what damage can a bike do that the flash floods don't?
Never did see you... we ended up moving to an area in Lincoln County that hasn't been covered with signs, yet. Sunday was 72F clear skies and desert riding heaven.
