Quarter day ride Friday AM

I'm hitting AF for a 2-3 hr loop Friday AM early. I plan on being at the Res parking lot at 7:15. Cold fresh air in the AM. Let me know if anyone wants to sneak out and still be at work in SLC by 10:30. I'm bringing the small bike.

I might be up for the Sun ride if it starts early. I'd bail mid day likely.

More of these in the future sound great! I would take you up by I am attending my grandfathers funeral Friday. The man lived to be a whopping 93 years old. Clean living (single malt whiskey, no blends) and lots of ADVing probably.

Lucky it didn't throw that rod through the bottom of the boat - I had a Fiat throw a rod once and it went almost all the way through a steel crossmember under the engine ... I'll bet that big-end bearing is welded to the crank (oiling problem) ... either that or there was some high RPM boat runnin' going on ... or both ...

Engine looks more orange to me than green.

That would certainly help explain what happened.

For how much oil came out of it a lack of oil would surprise me.

As far as the RPM?, I'll never know.

Nah, if it was orange the pictures would show the full KTM bikini repair assist team that comes standard with every purchse.

Pluric it looks like you need to change your air filter more often. Must have scarred the crap out of your daughter.

If it doesn't already have them, I'd have them install an oil level cut off switch (or at least an alarm) and a rev limiter while they are doing the work ... cheap insurance

Silly, of course they do. Just like the KTM a little high maintenance.

KLRs come with one too. Just that they kinda don't stay as fit
cause they have to sit around a lot waiting for something to break.
