Woodside issues

I get around those issues by parking about 20 miles south where there is a fenced in power station on the west side of the highway. Right next to the power station is a dirt road that goes west. Follow that road and you are out of sight of the main road. Follow the dirt road and it will lead you to the south end of the canyons.H ave not had any probs there.

GISkev put together a SPOT contact page. If anybody is interested, let him or myself know and we can get our own Utardia page going. It's based on a Google Document file sharing deal.

Yes, indeed. PM's only!!!!!

send your gmail address and you'll be able to fill in a spreadsheet for who you are and how to contact, what city you're in, truck owner, trailer owner, etc.

There is another tab for Incident Response so that a common location can be used to see that an inmate in trouble is getting assistance, and everyone can follow the progress without stepping on eachothers toes.

Having said that, i think that if someone bails you out, you owe them equivalent hours working around their house, so that way you don't have to feel bashful about getting help.

Once we get a bunch of you tards on their, i'll make a map showing those who live outside of SLC area so if you in the boonies you can get the closest people.

Helper list...

I've added a bit to the list... but first, here's how it works:

PM a gmail account sign in or email address to me or anyone else that's in (trackhead/MSH), and they will add you. You then can log in to google documents and fill in your info. Here's what the spreadsheet looks like so far:

---CONTACT PAGE---
ADV Name
Name
City
Home phone
mobile phone
Provider
email
Have Spot?
Spot tracking website
Have Truck?
Have Trailer?
Blood Type
existing medical conditions
emergency contact

---INCIDENT RESPONSE PAGE---
Incident & Inmate
Bike
Location
date
time
action taken
follow up

Obviously i was going to add "credit card number" and "wife's hottness rating" and "ETA to wife", etc, but I felt like i better keep it simple. On the medical conditions, i don't think impotence is relevant.

Any i've missed?

The intent was that if any of the geezers had a mild heart condition they could fess up... I'm sure there's a few on the list that will appreciate knowing that you have herpaGonaSyphillAids though.

I was hoping that would be enough to scare away Pluric in the event I lose consciousness.

I'm more curious who rides with a wallet.

The rest is what happens on the trail, stays on the trail.

miata: software aint cheap... i did that in 5 minutes (off the clock) cuz its related to what i do... You can load gpx files right into google earth for free though. I wrote a little script to color code the speed, and to run others' gpx files would require farm work as a trade!

(farm work is good training for adv expeditions! Long days... dehydration... Existential crisis pondering time... oh, and the dust!... sweaty a$$... significant other feels abandoned... dirt boogers... boots... gloves... mercy of the weather... repairs in the field... city friends think you're a hick... you get the idea.)

SIGN UP NOW TO WORK ON THE FARM! YOU ONLY HAVE TO PAY ME $20 PER DAY TO MAKE YOU A BETTER ADV RIDER!!!!!
