Three cheers to The Edge Moto for getting my valves in and the cylinder cleaned up in all of two days.

The intakes were about ready to get sucked into the head (cue Pluric or Infidel to post up a GIF animation).

I don't drink beer, only whiskey or wine. That's Sprite btw.

Pretty fucking weak sauce post for .75 per minute. You CAN do better. Get some whiskey on board, that should help.

Absolutely amazing. I didn't know the mechanics at the edge were capable of doing anything other than looking at their tattoos and acting too cool to take care of mere mortals. Either you were wearing the newest Fox Monster jersey or they have finally fired their service manager.

Dropped it off wednesday afternoon, picked it up saturday morning. No charge to do the quick ball hone on the cylinder. I'd go back.

The service guy I dealt with was Mike??? Seemed to be a normal guy, no tatts or other silly clothing.

Last year I went to Lindsay Machine, they were great too, but I caught them at a bad time when one of the machinists was out sick/hospitalized.

That would be Mike Cook. He went to Moab to the KTM rally when Ken n I went (October?)...won the little trials type ride.

Don't know who the old service manager was...

The old service mgr was a skinny young know-it-all. Cannot remember his name. But I remember his face and will make sure to rearrange it if I ever see him on the street.

Absolute. Punk.

Did the cut the seats or just lap them...just curious.

I'm surprised you had any adjustment left in those valves. Probably just take the shims out and let the buckets ride on top of the valves!

250 SX-F is finally out of the garage...now I'm looking for a cheap moto-van. My Westy just isn't up for pulling anything besides a flat trailer. An engine upgrade would cost a ton more than just picking up a beater van for a few $K.

Eh? Street legal two stroke

I'm thinking of making one of my 250 Huskys street legal. Does anyone know if I will have problems w/ DMV if the bike was registered before as a dirt only bike?!
