I wish I was with these guys, but NO

I was with my Jeep luvin wife hking along and taking photos... not so bad.

Me and the pup got some exercise...

Sometimes we even braved riding in the jalopy...

Hung with some cool folks...

And watched as several riders gave this kid the ATGATT speech.

NOGATT?

I talked to him, but he was 18 and knows everything... like most of us did at that age. He made it out unscathed, but I did watch him nearly skin himself several times. Remind you of the good old days?

My wife managed to grenade both front hubs and shear the rear pinion on the Willys in one smooth motion and we spent the rest of the weekend touring Canyonlands and hiking around Devils Garden.

BS'ed with some inmates from Wisconsin that were robbed when they left their bike for a few minutes and a thief made off with wallets, cell phones, and anything else that could ruin the trip for them.

Just a final update on the post Baja experience.....

My left hand had a ruptured tendon repaired........aggravated injury from Bball 37 years ago....

which triggered a bout of nerve entrapment in my right shoulder, arm and hand...certainly not related to hanging on to handlebars for 15 consecutive days....

And finally, something to anticipate............

Let's ride bitches...............after the wrenching............
