Glad to know you're ok though, mainly because afaik you already have kids, so no loss there!

Edited: I just thought of something, your bike looks totaled....except for them handlebars....you should give it to me!
Louis let's be reasonable, I'll trade you my bars for your front fairing.
I'll even buy my own front wheel. Deal???

Rare occurance especially with a Wee.

Be careful running into Cows/Cattle. Not only will it hurt big time, if you injur the beast guess who's liable and fined? I'll give you a hint, it ain't the cow.

I'm very glad you weren't seriously hurt. You could use a higher voice anyway. At times like these, it pays to look at the bright side. And this has a very bright side indeed. Now you finally have an excuse to go out and get that Uly you've always wanted.

Ooh Ouch, Gad your OK Pluric.

Since this is the Thread to get Utah rides going I'd like to post a link to a thread I started to come ride Logan.
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=357309

Its what ever you want it to be. Come up and ride for a dat. Come up and ride camp and ride, What Ever.

Ill cook up dinner and breakfast, and I would just need to split the cost for food with whoever eats.

BTW, if your worried that I'm a Prick, I'm not. I just play one on ADV.

Dang Rick, Glad your ok! A cow? Man, that could have turned out much worse. I am always worried about cows riding up around Bear Lake. Look at it this way you can start a new trend...V-strom Streetfighter Did the cut come from the windshield? Any Stitches?

I was worried for a moment. Right after the hit I felt my eye wet and
wiped my forehead, blood all over my hand. I thought "Oh great, scarface".
After a minute it stopped and I had a small cut right in the eyebrow.
Either sunglasses or a piece of windscreen got me. I think I took a hoof
to my calf (no pun intended) that was sore too. No stitches. I removed
all the loose plastic I could and drove into Randolf to get cell reception
and call for a trailer. After telling my wife why I was not going to make
dinner I decided to try and ride it home. I know that's dumb, but I don't
think I was totally over the shock of bitch slapping a cow.
I went all the way home, went to turn into the driveway and a piece of
headlight locked the steering .
If that had happened at freeway speeds in the twistys I would have been
double fooked for the day. A little guardian angel overtime.

So weird you would mention that. I found a KTM with a blown motor
and a 1960 Sportster engine on ebay. I'm thinking of making my own
Uly. I just need a 12 volt room fan that never shuts off and I'm
ready to assemble!

(My apologies to KTM owners)

So if you take the cow out and have to pay for it do you at least get to eat it?

That sucks that you totalled your bike but at least you aren't totalled. You are the second person I know that has hit a cow in the past few weeks. Scratch that my wife just reminded me that a friends brother hit a cow and is layed up in the hospital with a possible broken back. WTF is it with these COWS.

Oh ya. Why would you take a perfectly good frame and suspension with modern technology and throw an engine in there that has push rods, a belt and less hp per cc then any engin out there???????? I know you lust after a buell but don't ruin a ktm in pursuit of a low hp and overpriced bike.

Plurics ride.

ride, knock the shit out of a cow, WTF just happened, I'll just ride home, shit that hurts, WTF was I thinking riding home.

If you're giving it away I'll take it! I already got new handlebars, but I need the master cylinder bracket still... spare parts are always good to have too!

Oh....this goes to everyone, look at your toolbags right now(the one you take with you on trails), make sure you have some type of tape in there!

When it came time to get my bike going last Sunday, none of us 4 had tape!! Good thing Tigers are usually held together w/ excess duct tape so we used some from Fano's bike.

Ummm, I was just flipping Skifast some shit.

The Strom is not totaled. Just a few fairing parts a front fender and
wheel and it will live to cow hunt again. I just have not decided if I will
put it back together or discount it to someone with more energy.

@ Louis, here is a link for a front brake.
