Same thought on the front rotors, there are a few people here that have just given up on finding one and had a machinist make one... I am already considering making a few body pieces I guess it looks good as a hooligan.

Hi all. Newb from CT here and bringing this back to top. I just picked up this low-mileage 94, GTS and hoping to reach out to other owners. There was a GTS owners group but the forum has just disappeared a week ago for good. Big bummer as this was a great resource for owners. I picked this up in Tennessee and rode it back to CT through the Blue Ridge Pkwy and Skyline drive. 1250 miles in all. BTW, here's a great resource for rebuilding the GTS ABS. Mine will need this as well. I also have a line on a rebuilt unit in Portugal for about $250 US.

The GTS owners forum is gone??? I haven't been on in a month or two. Do you know what happened? I've been thinking about one for a while now.

Here are a few links for the GTS... you need to dig for some of threads.

Always been a fan of this bike. Never have owned one and probably never will, but it's still cool. I keep the brochure just to look at once in a while.

The GTSclub.org was the site that I thought was down for good. I'd emailed the only member I knew and he had told me it was gone after a week of trying to access the site. Seems it was only temporary. I hadn't checked since last Friday so this is GREAT news. Thanks for all the links and replies.

GTS maillist is pretty good source for info. They're planning a 20yr reunion in Marlinton, WV next year. The 10yr reunion was pretty nice in CO.
Still have my '94. Sweet, solid bike these. I'll only sell it to wannaklr

Single-sided even... Would have been ok with the high-tech theme but against the "sport" part of sport touring. Furthermore, adding weight and cost to an already expensive, heavy bike would have made it even more of a flop than it was.

Owners love the GTS but it has far too many serious flaws. The real shame is that Yamaha lost their nerve before they were able to "mainstream" the RADD front end. All of the other technology has eventually taken hold so maybe it's time to revisit the most interesting bit.
