well done.
A good farkle is one someone did on badweb was add 1 1/2 inch spacers on the flat right side air scoop to help with engine cooling/air flow. I'm going o try it this weekend.

I've added, not on your list:
1) To reduce handlebar vibration: HVMP end bars besides vibration elimination, they are the first point of impact in a crash/dump, saving the levers and turn signals. 2) on '06 models, get a '07 air box or drill holes on the left side. Gets rid on low end surge. 3) Tour tank for extra range. |

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
Cavaleiro has beat the rest of us to the punch. Admit it guys, we have all thought about doing just this! Imagine what we can do as a group here. Add in the guys from Badweb and The Uly Crew will have Buell coming here for the answers!
Keep up the hard work. Oh, one more item; Use guys here on XB12XTs need to help the other new folks understand the differences in the bikes. Small changes but in yet differences. Ride on Guys!

Nice list- it'd be cool to get it posted to the Big, Bad, & Dirty forum at Badweb as a sticky, and add links (if that doesn't violate the "Badweb advertisers only" rule).

All good +
I really like my CRG Billet levers (shorty version) from Iron Machine. Protaper Bars (raptor bend) on Precision Engineering adapters with Ram GPS mount. I have others but these are really worth the money.

Don't forget
I can't believe everyone forgot:
Stebel 139 decibel horn Touratech Handlebar bag Touratech headlight protector* *Unnecessary if you know for sure only rocks with a diameter greater than 1 1/4 " will impact the headlight

Farkle list at top updated for posts to here
Thanks for your additions
I edited the original list for many of the suggestions you all posted that I could understand. I'll update it again in a week. Did anyone notice my ficticious mod in each category? For example, do you really think adding 1000 pound thrust jato tubes (rockets) to a motorcycle is a good idea? Cavaleiro Cavaleiro screwed with this post 05-31-2008 at 06:29 AM |
