Well, the MCCCT comes through there, but I've never ridden that section.

Oh yeah the helmetless dipshit's are out in force. I have several friends who are nurses up here in Traverse, and apparently the hospitals are gearing up for the slaughter. I wont feel an ounce of sympathy for the lot of them if they won't take care of themselves.

Yea I guess it's all bout personal choice and being able to make it . It's all the same seatbelts , car seats , bike helmets !

When I was a kid our trampolines had springs and no safety nets and I'm only 25! I call it survival of the fittest, I suppose the same can be said about other safety concerns as well.

Not in El Paso TX on the helmets ORGT. Not 1 in 10 wear a helmet and they kill them off about 2 or 3 per week. When you see one with a helmet he is usually out of Ft. Bliss and HAS TO wear a helmet and color vest by Army regs. We would not want to destroy military property of course.

+1 on the TX BBQ.... They really do know how there.

So thats why I saw so many riders wearing reflective vest when I stayed by Ft. Hood last night? I might have seen four riders today beween Waco and Texarkana without helmets, most were wearing lids. I think when the temps go up in Texas the helmets come off, its only been in the low eighties lately. You also see many more motorcycles in Michigan than Texas...

I was in Fort Worth for a week in December. Maybe 4 in 10 had helmets. Just need eye protection to be legal.
