Nice to see you around Ron. Sorry you missed out last Sunday it was a great time!

BTW, found a pic of the old goat from back in the days:

Some things cannot be unseen

I would be up for a Yankee Springs ride tomorrow, but until all my motorcycle drama is over I'm bikeless.

Oh cut the excuses, with 25-30 bikes between me and ted, we can find you *something* to ride.

WOuld you prefer this one...not much rear suspension travel...well, 0in would be more truthful....the seat is small and hard, but she's dam fast....well, at least in a straight line

Or would this be more to your liking. Better suspension, softer, larger seat, but a cramped riding position, and a sound coming out of them 4 open megaphones better than any symphony

I suppose this one would might be more your style. CRF450 chassis with reworked MX suspension, street-legal even, with a strong XR200R motor. As we call it our CRF200R

SO name your poison.Still got dozens more you can pic from. No lame I don't got a bike excuses accepted here.

Oh...do they have to have a legal tag and the right plate on the right bike to suit you??? hehehe

But you made it and that's cool!

Now if this guy would have shown up it might have been a longer day:

Hey, thanantos....you know, you're always welcome to drive the hack if you need a bike.

I can ride the XR600 instead, it be a heck of a sacrifice, but hey what are friends for?

BTW, I'm switching from the stock 16in rear/18in front to the '81's 17in rear/19in front......more selection of DS tires, plus should give me a bit more ground clearence.

You've got some cool iron Charlie, thanks for riding your GoldWing and the opportunity to get those pics sunday. Steve

Hey Charlie, I saw your post about Yankee Springs and was going to put this there but couldn't type below that pic! Showed it to my wife and she laughed so hard she peed her pants!
If you're interested some of us from WMRIDERS are riding Yankee Springs and Barry State Game Area this Sat the 7th. We'd be happy to help you with some possible routes for the fall ride Thanantos mentioned. If you or any of the rest of your crew has a GPS and would like to ride along let us know. There's some great pavement, gravel, and two tracks out that way.

Speaking of thanks I haven't yet but do thankk you Steve for those great pics!

And Charlie it would be a By-God-Honor to ride the hack! I would only hope we'd have enough guys as we did to pull it out of the shit storms I might get stuck in!

BTW, I believe I've figured out a way to fix Kawasaki's engineering failure and continue to ride the KLR (although reluctantly and timidly). So let's get that ride out of Prairieville scheduled. AND NO BACKING OUT THIS TIME GOAT!

Besides, I don't think DeutschMark would want me riding bitch on his KTM down there anyway

I may be guilty of wearing dukes but I'm not guilty of backing out on a ride. I've been deep in the heart of Texas for almost a month. I'll have my wife write me a excuse note for my absence if necessary. Even though I'm a lone rider, I'll get around to riding in the West Michigan chapter of the ADV gang one of these days, especially if there is food involved.
