Found some fun seasonal & forest roads near Newaygo, MI:
43 23.725' - 085 42.145

The Good
Next time, I'm bringing the camera. Some of the forest roads (paths?) were very overgrown & would simply disappear. The sandy seasonal roads gave me a lot of experience with the new (to me) bike.

The Bad
Not much to put here...eh, both the bike & I are a little heavy, oh well.

The Ugly
Old mattresses & tires on the roadside take away from the view

Hello fellow SW Michigan folks, Holland here. Just sold my sport bike and about ready to buy a F800GS. Would really like to meet others in the areas, maybe even do a trip out west next summer.

On bikes? Where are heading to? I heading to the BMW dealer in Grand Rapids tomorrow to see if I can make a deal on a new bike.

My wife, myself and the Buick just got back from a three week, five thousand mile Texas trip. I did almost the same trip in the spring on the Honda and let me tell you this last trip sucked, the auto part anyway. Where ever we were I mentioned to the wife about the absence of motorcycles. We followed a beautiful road along the Rio Grande River for about sixty miles and didn't see one bike and it was a sunny Saturday and about eighty degrees. Dang. No one even shot at us from the other side of the river.

You almost never see a nice muscle car or street rod down there either. Blame it on economics I guess. The weather is going to suck today and I'm going to take a spin on one of my bikes and I bet I'll still see other motorcycles.
