Any of the dozen or so ADVers that follow this thread been getting out and riding in this cold but dry weather? Off or on road? Gravel counts as off road. Without electric gear or even long johns I followed the Grand River into GR yesterday and about froze.
 Dang, those knobbys are noisy on the highway.

I do a 15min commute every workday, leaving around 7:45am. Usual gear is a Tourmaster Transition 2 jacket w/ liner, polar fleece, winter gloves, jeans, wool socks, & leather shoes. I'm thinking a balaclava might be in order, and maybe some heated gear...this will make a nice winter project:

The 26th! Only 4 more weeks until I head to New Mexicos "West side" for the winter and see May weather(with sun) again. I can't wait. No bugs, no stop signs, virtually no speed limits, polite drivers and great mountains.... You guys want pictures sent back?

Sunny and near 50 tomorrow.
..........yup, 50 and sunny. Went on a ride to eat ride. Stopped at Sandys in Cutlerville for lunch. Good cheap food and a hot waitress to boot! I was going to check out the BMW dealer down the street but changed my mind, its too depressing for me to look at something I'll never be able to afford. I took a combination of gravel and paved back roads to Wayland over to Dorr to Monterey and back home. Nothing spectacular but what the hay at least I got out. Sorry no pictures. You'll have to check out the waitress on your own.
