Was pretty cool. I was at the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Show today in PA and there was a company there with a police outfitted scoot... I shot some pics on my phone so I will try to upload them later.
Thought it was interesting to see someone marketing a Super-Scoot to the PD's now though... Personally I think it makes a lot of sense for certain communities.

Hello everyone,
I just bought an 09 Tmax and now ready to explore and learn in order to bring this puppy to "near perfection"... Now, would anyone be willing to share their bookmarks on where to purchase all these aftermarkets goodies? I am familiar with Scooter trap but can't seem to locate other well furnished US web sites (ie. EU blinkers; ERMAX, Pollini, etc). Thanks!

PS: This thread is ridiculously long... no way we could have sub sections for scooter inmates?

O-livier...congrats on the new T-Max...I'm sure you'll love it. There aren't many aftermarket accessories available in the US. You mostly have to order the "good stuff" from EU sites. You can try Ebay International and find lots of stuff. Here are several links if you don't mind high shipping charges. One more thing...Google Translate is you best friend in navigating these sites (assuming you're not fluent in German, Italian, Spanish, etc):

such beautiful designs! As you say, there are a lot of "tuning" places in the EU and will need to closely look at... Not sure where I should start with the mods...

I am French and rode the Tmax in 2001 while undecided between a GS and the Tmax.... Turned out the GS won my heart then.... 9 years after, I still have a GS and now the Tmax...

Welcome! O-livier! Well, you could start by changing the mirrors-- there's a PAIR of Rizoma Elisse on eBay going for $175. But then you'll need adapters...

If this was two years ago I would've bought them, but since I am going oversea soon if I buy them now I won't be able to enjoy them on the bike, so too bad for me.

Too many mods, too little time. Then again, modding is a gradual process.

Hey all : I have had my TMAX for a few days and have put over 400 miles on it, so far I'm impressed. Just ordered the EU turn sigs (hate the stockers), and cut off the rear lic. plate hanger (fender). Trying to decide on which variator, J.Costa standard or race. Maybe even the Dr.Pulley mod, any suggestions, likes or dislikes, would you buy the same again? Is the standard J.Costa good for three seconds off 0-60 times like the J.Costa race variator? Anyone with a performance exhaust system for sale? Where can I get a free service manual download?

Hi Dave,Tmax is a great ride. The J. Costa has been fine for me and would definitely buy one again. I have the standard J Costa and it's good for 2 - 2.5 seconds off the stock 0-60 time.Bob
