Does anyone know the alternator capacity of the TMax? I am wondering if it has sufficient additional capacity for winter electric clothing.

Has anyone done a comparison between the T Max, 650 Bergman and Honda Silverwing?

Speeds, milage, handling, etc.

Sorry brudder our messages got mixed up. I don't own a Tmax. Just really like them!!! It'd be hard to let go of a perfectly good Burg. 400 w/ plenty of power, storage, 2 up capabilitites and gets 65mpg. The Tmax is one hellofa fine looking machine though.

I'll be watching the hell out of this thread and youtube, amongst others.

Still hoping that a TMax owner could check the manual for an alternator wattage specification...

Received my Tmax on 8/23 and rode it home 25 miles. what a smooth ride. The dealer filled the tank up but not totally full as the fuel warn trip meter came on at about 130 miles. Not bad for a new bike dealer fill up though. Mirrors are very smooth and no vibration. The Tmax idles very quietly too. Rain protect was not as good as my Majesty but then again I caught 3 lights red in a row the last 3 miles coming home. Corners like a dream, I am doing turns on the Tmax that I would not have tried on the majesty. All in all very nice 130 miles. Now the next thing is Scooter Encounter in October

I just checked the owners manual, and it does not give that info. I do not have a shop manual yet. Sorry no help, Joel.

AC magneto, standard output, 14 volts, 378 watts @ 5000 rpm,

Tmax owner's manual does not list alt out put.... I am picking up a service manual tomorrow and will post output wattage...

Thanks for the info. That is not Niagara Falls, but it should run some Gerbing items with no problem.

Service manual; 27 amps@5000rpm; 378 watts@5000..

I added up all lights on = 262 watts..

leaves 116 watts ... should be enough for heated vest..
