Larco, go on ebay worldwide, the world is your oyster, and as for exhausts, theres dozens from all the leading brands, just needs a bit of elbow grease on your part to find them, i have lots of shops from italy and france stored and theres loads more, but EBAY is your friend! I am sure in 1 of my earlier posts i listed some, just have to look back through the pages on this thread dude!

I second that. France and Italy are the #2 and #1 scooter markets in Europe, respectively, and have huge TMax followings. Unfortunately many of their on-line shops will NOT ship to the USA (i.e. outside of the country), but some do. I got my LED turn signal kit (same as Dezzie's) from Ghostshop in Italy, but I found them via their EBay shop. They shipped them to me and I received them in about a week or so.

On Ebay, you can see who will ship "globally", and who won't. You can write them for actual shipping to the USA, and then you can complete the sale.

It's helpful to know some Italian or French for sure, but Google Translate can often be "good enough" to get you by.

TMaxclub.it (Italian) and TMax-Mania.com (French) are great sources of information, but you probably need to know some Italian or French. My French is quite good, so I go to TMax-Mania when I have any questions, and I invariably get 10+ responses, and quickly! They know their stuff. They've had the T-Max for 8 years after all.

I'd love to see some comparisons (0 to 60 or just a video of two tmaxes going at it) as it relates to the j costs variator (race or standard) and stock. I'm thinkin about pullin the trigger but would like some more info

Do it dude, honestly, the 0-60 times come down i would say by 3 seconds on the race version, around just under 6 seconds or more on my bike, but i also have filter and pipe, best investment of all the parts i have on the bike!

BTW, Anyone considering getting the power commander 3 fitted, dont bother asking dynojet for maps, they got jack shit, if you approach the exhaust manufacturers, they generally have maps, i just got one sent from sc-project for my pipe n filter, all the work done already to the letter, mivv also have plenty so look around!

Mine gets the new map installed on tuesday, let ya know the outcome!

P.S. Anybody know how a scooter is dynojetted, dynojet dont send a map with there pc3, and the guys doing it on pc aint gotta clue, as the bike cant really be put under load on the rollers as its automatic so ya get false readings, my dyno guy says the comp said mine needs more fuel, but its so rich and my mpg is probably just over a 100miles to empty the tank, hope this new map sorts it!

? EXCITED ARE WE? LOL, Ok map update, got the new map installed today, miles better than what it was, so, for future upgrades, go to the exhaust manufacturers first for maps, this one so far seems pretty good!

What's your milage now?

Anyone seen a Tmax 12V DC plug around for less than $94 freaking dollars for a cigarette plug a bit of wireing and a plastic plug?

Forget it I found it here for $54 canadian bucks which is 48 usd today, still outragous but a bit more reasonable than the USA price at the Yammie dealers. Someone should just make up a batch of these and sell them for $20.

Possible Tmax owner

Hi guys. I found this forum while looking for Tmax info and it appears to be a good source of news and mods.
I'm considering the new Yamaha Tmax as my ride. Prices have come down since a year ago so that's a good thing. I know a dealer in my area that has them for sale at $7000 plus setup and taxes so out the door should be around $7600. Good price or no? This year in the states we can deduct the sales tax from taxable income so there is a slight gain to pick up there too.
Specs on this bad boy are really good and the reviews are favorable. I do agree that the stalk turn signals are not as nice as the euro style. Any good sources for retrofits for that? Thanks for the great pictures and discussion that I have reaad already in the back pages.
