Yet the mystery remains.
What is it? How did it get there? What's in it? Severed heads? Nazi gold? Maybe that sprocket cover you've been wanting...

Waiting...

SO??? did you do anything yet? Call anyone? Find anything?

It seems it's at least worth a call to the authorities to see if they would dig it up, if you can't do it yourself...

The intrigue is killing us, here!

So who can identify the brand? Where's oppozit when you need him?

It doesn't look like a Velorex to me. The Velorex frame does not extend that far back from the wheel. Plus this thing looks far heavier.

I am beginning to think it was mean to post those pics and just leave the rest of us hanging in suspense.

Is the river tidal?...If it is, maybe get the local BSAC scuba club to go and recover it , they love that sort of thing. Even if its not submerged, they still may be interested in recovering it for a few beers.

Very busy at the moment but I'll ring around next week to see what sort of trouble I might land my self in if I attempted to dig it out. I'll certainly be going down in my wellies to get a closer look in the next few days, most probably on the early AM low tide.
