Gave up at page 42ish...went out for a smoke and decided I couldn't quit. From the begining of the thread I found myself aligned with the takers, and for a minute I thought we wouldnt pull through. I psyched myself up, had faith, and lo and behold, the SSOD was drug from its captor.

lookin forward to seeing what this thing bolts up to...
also looking forward to going to bed after reading this whole thing.

So where is it at now? That just cries out for some electrolysis treatments.

What's going on with this thing. Is it back on the road yet?

We, The Leavers, knew this would happen.

Leavers

I was among the "leavers" and had the thought that we might force the "takers" who sacrilegiously pillaged our SSOD in a day and night of pagan drunkedness and ribaldry, took it away from us and then, after a bath in the electrolysis tub simply abandoned and shoved aside our icon and spirited it away from us.
They should be held accountable and if their collective talents are unable to do a complete restoration, ship the thing over here so we can fix it up.
Whadda ya think???

And, on another note...maybe they should do the right thing for all of us and simply replace the SSOD back where it came from.....

And so, the legend continues.......

Laugh I agree!

It is entirely possible that in their drunken debauchery they fell into the electrolysis tank and were dissolved/absorbed into the Holy Being.

I do believe those that survived would be redeemed and be spared a similar fate by restoring the sacred icon to its rightful resting place.

I think the Takers absolutely ruined everything. Had it been left in it's Holy resting Place, we'd still be talking about it and booking pilgrimages.

alas...

Hoping for a Mouse update soon. Love the rust removal process. Go SSOD!

Did AceRph ever post pics of the washing machine?

Any update on the status of the SSOD? Is she back on the road yet?
