I was looking for a comfort seat and an EXC silencer when I first got my 2000 640E, and both items were "discontinued"

I went with a Leo Vince can and just got used to the stock seat. It is way better than my stock F800 seat was.

So what do people think of the D606s? A Dulop rep suggest them and they llok alot better than my Enduro3s, which I like for freeway and have done ok in dirt and gravel, altho I like the rear better than the front.

From what I've seen the comfort seat is available through ktmworlds.com .....

Off-Road my saddle is fine, it's the longer tarmac rides to get to the dirt that are the problem. Damn the thing breaks my ass ......

As for the FMF can ...... after looking at the bike. Any bracket needed, is gonna be easy peasy. I have a friend who's a welder / fabricator - that any little bracket thingy I might need, no problem.

And I have a friend that has a muffler shop to make a custom link pipe.

how about a Renazco? Mine is great, the sides shaved a little and the slope reduced with some firmer foam for support

You have to be kidding. MT21's last me about 1500 miles. D606s go three times that for me.

I used the MT21 both paved and offroad. when I finished with the last set, it was dead. but I appreciate your comment. I may try a set after my current TCK. it's been years since my last D606.

Cleaned and repacked the head bearings, adjusted the throttle cable and ordered a new front axle assembly today while it snowed. Good sunday, loving the kool-aid!

Ortlieb saddle bags

Thanks for the pics G-Funk and skibum69,

After I recover from my self induced food coma I'm off the garage to play with the bags. Looks like mounting them towards the rear is the way to go but I may have to modify the Dirt Bagz rack.....should be fun.

Thanks,
Gerst
