Looks sweet!
Why did you decide to change the WINGS muffler?
How much will you want for the old one? Is it a titanium one?

You'll have to check the Super Enduro thread for that, and regarding the trash, that is a barrel of recycling, and worth a deposit where I come from. Give it ten years, and you guys will doing the same. Messing with you, but when I'm in the US, it shocks the hell out of me to see very easy to collect and recycle items just tossed out. I figure an aluminum can is easier to melt than digging up a whole new pile of rocks. Plastic bottles make nice fleece jackets and much more.

yep my BBQ & bourbon money
10c cents for each can , cool drink bottle , alcohol pop glass bottle & flavored milk carton etc that's marked with 10c refund.
"South Australias" way to recycle . ... pity all plastic & glass bottles are not 10c refundable I.E. wine & spirit glass bottles , milk plastic 2L & 3L bottles are not 10c refundable only recyclable.

@veetwo.....nice bikes....but somehow I feel the lc 4 should be in a rally trim....

Would you bother to do a writeup of the rear end and exhaust swap...

Also, your pictures are not showing, look in the "Ask Baldy...' section of the forum for instructions on posting pics.

Hello Thanks for the information... I woud try to check with the previous owner... I checked the rear wheel bearings have been changed and some more stuff, like the seals but not this point. From now the bike is looking good and it's sounds well, It has some km, but I bought it at good price as well, it was a temptation wich I couldn't resist... I will try to read the owner's manual to check if it includes how to replace the cam follower roller bearings. If you have more information or a link please let me know...

I will check next time in ask badly to show you the pics, firstly I tried to do it, but it didn't work, so decide to put them in my personal blog and share it with a link.

Clint, thanks one more time

I posted in the "show me yours....." thread but thought I'd repost here. This is my 01' I picked up last year and threw a couple of goodies on. I painted it up in the Red Bull theme a la Cyril Despres/ Marc Coma. Ive had lots of bikes over the years but my LC4 has to be the most useful, fun bike I have ridden. Now if it only had that sweet dual exhaust......

Signing in here - new ADV rider based in Toronto, Ontario. I picked up an '05 640 Adventure with some mods and plenty of scratches :)

Damn, is the engine supposed to be that noisy? It sounds like gremlins rolling around in there with mini sledge hammers...

I'll post some pictures soon.

The official description of an LC4 engine sound would be that somebody threw a hand full of bolts in it......

A handful of bolts? I thought that description was exclusive to Harley Davidsons and my former Ducati open clutch.

It's so wierd...it almost sounds like rattles and banging external to the engine sometimes. Oh, and what is the average idle speed normal running temperature of these things? Mine was idling at roughly (no pun intended) 2000 rpm so I dialed it down to about 1400 rpm and it's not ideal but in my mind, I couldn't believe that 2000 was correct.

Having said all that, it's still a very capable and cool machine.

Set the idle to 1600 - 1700, no more....

At 1400 I believe you can hear the decomp kicking in....

Welcome to the tribe, and constantly wondering "is that noise normal" My suggestion is to never ride with earplugs in then ride with them out, the additional noise always makes me nervous! I've got over 15,000 miles on my 07 valves are always in spec and the magnets are clean at oil changes. So I guess it's normal...
