Am on my 3rd rear with this very same Ft/Rear combo.

They work for the conditions I ride, plus the ladies bare their breasts and roll their nipples in between their thumb and forefinger as they begin to hear the distinct hum of my tires as I ride past them.

you cannot compare these tires!!! the NEW karoo T is much better - specialy onroad-

I have the new Karoo T on my 640 ADV
and I hate it off road.
The front tire feels not going in straight line. I would not use it again.
I try different air pressure and playing with the front and rear rebound settings with no big change.
On road its OK.
I will not buy this tire again.

The 908 front never would work for me. Head shake the size of TX at anything over 60 on tar.

Changed pressure, sag, fork height, even ate bran cereal for a fortnight and it still didn't solve the problem.

Just sayin'

908 is great rear, but use the 606 for the front! Seems thats what the mass majority use as the standard combo!

Yeah the 908 front is a true rally tire much like the Michelin Desert front, great for all dirt and sand etc but squirrelly on hard stuff or pavement under so much weight, which is why I went with the 606 front.

The whole reason I threw down for a set was to ride the Trans Labrador again and I've just had it pulled out from under me for the second time this year, looks like it will have to be September on the way to CroMag and my girlfriend will be very happy that I just shaved off my "dirty sanchez"

Twin Remus system

Just fitted my twin remus system and went for a quick ride around the block. Much quieter than the wings but I am sure its quicker. As soon as the rain stops I am heading up into the bush. Rejetted using a 162.5 at 2 1/4 turns on the mixture. I tried a 167.5 but it was spitting flames out the pipes. Impressive but would have melted my plastics.

I need some help finding some cool up grades for my 2006 640 adv.
I am looking for a Dakar style skidplate/water tank /toolbox and also a twin rear fuel pod.
Or I can make work This KTM part number : 5851219600004 and the part description was: 1999 660 Rallye R/S Side Tank.
I will buy old used parts or new .
Thanks

See this thread for details of a rallye build (which included one of the side fuel tanks). http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=353839

KTMatt (in anmate here) sells a similar bash plate (but used more for tools than water), look in the Australian Vendors sub forum here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212063

He was also threatening to sell alloy side tanks, but never has offered them for sale.
