New to me

Just picked up a new to me 02 640 adventure. Pretty stock has a few mods nothing fancy though. sure is nice to buzz around town on not quite the same as far as power compared to the 950SE though. Once I got the carb sorted and some fresh gas the thing runs like a top

Carpe Viam!

Tomorrow I'm leaving from Finland towards Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia with my 2003 LC4 Adventure. The round trip will probably be about 15000 kms and 60 days in length. Great adventure awaits me!

I will be documenting my trip at http://www.viasiberia.blogspot.com

Cheers,

Tseta

It´s not the destination, it´s the taste of the first beer when you get there!

Safe ride!

The bike was absolutely fine with this weather -- started right up on the first turn and couldn't wait to enjoy the snow.

Finally got my '06 640Adv back together after taking it apart for some welding last fall, can someone please remind me what the little 5mm bolt that goes into the subframe roughly under my finger behind the sidecover is for? Thanks in advance

You're talking on the stocker 2 mounts for just the can? Makes sense as I can't think of anything else that would go there...
