Cheers Lego, I think there maybe pullers and stuff packed away at work somewhere.

Seems like I've brushed through some "how to" write ups here on ADV. But will gladly put one together, I've had the magneto cover off, it really does look straight forward with a puller.

Is the rear end in the attach pic a factory rally part or something that appeared on only certain models?

I believe that rear fender/brake lifts are from a 660 rally. Side panels are stock for that bike though.

To me it looks like an older model with a different front suspension and wheels (the fuel pump is located at the front of the engine). D.

I'm more concerned with whatever that is in the far bottom right of the pic.

In noticed the side stand with the centre stand... I thought that you cannot fit both KTM stands at the same time and you have to go aftermarket...
Tricks ?

I seem to remember a few people did some welding/ fab work to run both, before the sw motech units were available.

The year 2000 models came from the factory with the side stand tab on the frame. As far as I know, no other years had this. I have a 99 that I put the DualStar kit on, which required welding a tab to the frame. The picture could be a 2000 converted to USD forks - the footpegs, engine, fuel pump look correct for that year, but the tank and front end do not - or it could be a different year with a welded-on tab.

My 01 has a factory provision for sidestand, utilizing one of the centerstand holes. It's an either/or affair.
