Thanks everyone for your replies. I've checked out Kriega, but don't really care for the 4 bag design, although they do make awesome bags. I do have an aftermarket exhaust, so there is that funky space, but it doesn't bug me. I'm leaning toward the Wolfman Expedition Dry bags with possibly the RotoPax fuel system if it will fit the stock rack. Thanks for the help!

I'm selling this rack works great with soft bags. it gives you somewhere to tie down soft luggage so there is no piant damage or worry of shifting or damage

The enduro that bobber was looking at might still be available since he went with a fly-n-ride beemer instead. Only problems sounds like getting a hold of the guy. Gave bobber a bit of a run-around.

I always find it funny that KLRs are being constantly bashed. I have an 08 that I bought new for $5k. Ive done 15k miles on her, about 10k of that off road; OBDR, Idaho and multiple dual sport weekends. The KLR is an unpretentious, cheap and reliable mule. I have abused the crap out of mine, fully loaded down without any issues. Its a keeper.
I do however own an 06 KTM 640 Adv. This is no mule, this is the racehorse/mountain goat combo. Powerful, well balanced, well made, but vibey as all hell. So if its 75% offroad you are doing, with basically stretches on the slab that connect the trails, then go for it. But anything like some of my trips that are 2000 miles and maybe 500 of them on the trails, I would have to think twice about what bike to take.

I had replied to that same ad/guy but never heard back so I'm not holding my breath on it.

Hi,
A few days ago I was asking about my front axle not going back in. Today I need to ask about the front right disc (sitting on bike), rubbing the caliper mount. All spacers are in, brake pads are fine, not sure what else to do.

Anyone had a similar issue?
