How much do you think it will sell for?

I'd be surprised if it went for less than $12k.

The Ural gearbox looks like a funny little growth on the back side of that motor

I guess that answers the question about the new gearboxes and massive torque.

who knows?

if a CJ with at propane machinegun can go for 7 grand, than this bike should fetch $25,000. it wont, but i figure its worth alot more than that CJ.
In my short study of sidecar rigs, I have found that they cost far in excess of what there value is as a practical mode of transportation.
for $2k you can buy a reliable 10 year old car that gets 30mpg.
or you can buy a decent motorcycle, but you cant even buy a ural in need of repair for that figure. many have said "dont buy a CJ-DNEPR-URAL-take your pick, unless you can do a little "maintance". I have been wrenching for over 30 years and I LOVE EFI!! I wish my KTM had fuel injection.

I found my really clean honda nighthawk 750/velorex rig for just over $3000 and was also looking at a high milage but good condition kz1000/dnepr rig that was asking $2000. The japanese rigs seem to be a far better value for the money even if they aren't as cool looking as the russian iron.

japanese sidecar rigs

in the year and a half i have lookning for a sidecar rig i can afford at this time, the only non cj-ural-dnepr rig i have foung for sale was a honda silver wing with a car of unspeifide origin. this was before i knew much about sidecar rigs.
I did hovever know that the cx500 honda has a reputaion as a realy crappy bike. here in michigan they all tend to be sold as "non running parts bikes" I would consider most any sidecar rig at this point as my 2 year old loves bikes, and blew me away sunday by saying "SIDECAR" in clearly enunciated english.
i wish to give him a (SAFE) motorcycle ride ASAP.

Try going to sidecar rallies if there are any near you. Thats how I found mine and there was also an older goldwing rig for not much more money for sale that day. This was at a small (about 20 bike) local rally.
I am however lucky that I live in the San Francisco bay area and there are LOTS of bikes available around here.

Good Luck

edit: also try crazedlist.org it lets you search multiple cities at once.
