My big MSR bottle fits with a satisfying "whoosh" of expelled air, and a wad of plastic at the bottom keeps it from rattling.
Yep, I bought 4 too.

In addition to the wadding/packing to take up the rattle room, try a couple rubber bands AROUND the MSR bottle. Works great.

Now to mount them like rocket launchers! ...I see a new thread now!

I played the shipping charge game when I ordered. Charges were the same for:

1 tube
2-3 tubes
4-6 tubes
7-9 tubes

It's not like I don't have other stuff laying around the garage that don't use.

I just don't need more than one.

Ya, that's why I ordered 4.

I'm still trying to figure out where to mount it on my R1150R. No place is quite right.

reseller? once the yellow is removed?

FWIW, a few laps of gaffers tape ( or duct tape ) around the upper portion of the MSR bottle keeps the rattle down and stores the tape for future use if needed.

the TW has one mounted up now too. BTW I found a bit of spray chainwax works well on keeping the threads lubed and yet sticky. but, you wouldn't know what chain lube is, now would ya?

Ya know.... I was thinking about those Agricultural Suppy tubes, when I noticed some of the Rod Guard tubes our Welders use. I wonder how they'd compare? Any Welders out there know what they cost?

They work well, unless you listen to anyone that tells you "it will clear the tire no problem"

Also, they are supposedly rated fairly high in temperature, but that didn't work out so well for me either.

I bought mine at Home Depot for either $10 or $20.

Two feet of fuel injection hose with a BMW quick-disconnect on the end coils up nicely in the cap and serves to keep a 33oz MSR fuel bottle from rattling around.
