3rd size ??

There seems to be a 3rd size available ....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Mega Moto Tube Dimensions
4 1/4" inside diameter,
12 1/4" inside length,
14" overall length.

Anyone seen the larger 4 1/4" diameter one available (just the tube not the kit on ebay) in a store or on-line ??

I email Argi Supply and they said they didn't plan on selling the large ones ?? I bet if Argi Supply got enough request - they might reconsider ...

Ask them if they wouldn't mind telling you the manufacturer or the source for the large ones since they do not sell them. When you do ask, let them know you have bought the other sizes from them, so they don't think you're just a cheap bastard.

... and tell them to start selling the 12” long x 4 ¼” Diameter “OPERATOR'S MANUAL CANISTER”….

Let them know they would sell in HUGE numbers – just like the smaller one.

.....

Going to order a set. I've been wanting to find a way to store rain gear for me and OL. Going to mount them on the saddlebag guards that go around the bags on Harley Ultra. Could probably mount them on the rear engine guard, but I got bags there already.

Great idea guys.

Just used some 3 inch PVC drain pipe with two clean outs on the end. One trip to Lowes for less than 20 bucks. Stores my beadbrakr, tire irons, and various other tools.

Pete O Static, now that you've had that on for awhile how is it holding up to the heat being so close to the header?

Bought a couple for putting rain gear in, but not big enough, not even one piece per tube. Could probably get them in you really tried in your living room, but not as easy on the road.

I'll probably put mine on my ATV.

I have had no heat issues at all. The only thing that was ever a concern was hitting the fender on full fork compression when pushing hard off road. The stock suspension would bottom out and hit against the tube sometimes. I have since put in slightly stiffer springs and a heavier fork oil ( which was on my to do list anyway ) and now no longer fully compress the front end against the stops. This was only ever an issue with the stock suspension in really lumpy terrain.
