Mine is attached in the typical KLR650 spot but locked like so:
![]() You can juuust make it out behind the case: ![]() I doubt anyone would mess with it but since I commute and have to leave it at school, shady places, etc... |

Is the mushroom shaped thingy a quick release spring ball bolt? If so where did you get it? I can't find those with that type of head anywhere.

It came from boat US, they are costly though. I had some extra quick releases from sailing. You could always just put a little lock there.

Glad I found this, was about to order some off Twisted Throttle for $15 and found the agrisupply ones instead, super stoked. Quick question, has anyone seen them mounted to the engine cases on an Airhead? Do you think the heat would be an issue?

Didn't Agri start selling a smaller version ? I may be thinking of something else but I'm sure I've seen pics of a smaller version.

got this idea off another site. welded 1/2" square tubing and a piece of 1/8" flat steal to mount the top end. The bottom mounts to an existing hole. I use this one for 1 litre fuel bottle.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This one I use for tools. ![]() I came up with this spot, left rear rear foot peg bolt holes and a piece of flat steal done. I now can carry 2-1 litre fuel bottles and tools. ![]() No, it doesn't interfere with my foot.

I just bought two . One for the skidloader, one for the 1150GS .
I have Happy Trails racks and panniers. Anyone else mounted one of these tubes on a 1150 GS?
