When you remove all the SAS shit you will expose ports in the side of your intake ports to both heads as this is where the extra air is injected into your motor for the anti pollution system and you need to close them off.
It is a simple mod, I made my own plates and tried to make them so as they match the rest of the castings around it, so as to hide it so to speak. Most after market manufacturers like to stick their names on them and make them pretty (obvious) colours for the authorities to find if they ever decide to go looking.

the pilot jets were too lean.... float heights were way off.. and air mixture screw was to lean also..

big plug to Tony Bogart at Mt Berryman. he did a fantastic job of sorting it out..

Low speed constant throttle there feels like there is a stumble or slight surge. I have changed the jetting to a proven formula so shouldn't be that. .

Any tips?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!"

Sorry for the lack of response - just saw this...

for me it was the floats and IMS (changed to flex jets to make tuning easier). Air jet was changed as well to a 70 IIRC.

Hi Guys
I've been reading this post for a while and finally decided to post. Here is my steed the day I bought it

And here is after a couple of changes and 6000km later, doing one my favorite upgrades: extra range.
