Well Matt

I had the possibility of getting a KLR650 Rolling Chassis Complete.

The guy is using the motor in a GoKart / buggy.

I have an old XS650 Yamaha motor in the shed . . . . . . . . .

Just seeing if it would fit. It would but . . . . . .

However the KLR Roller fell through.

Shame really, It would have been a good project

My (new to me) 01 klr, pretty much stock standard with 17,000 on the clock, actually pre-owned by a local dealer, so it should have been serviced regularly etc.. etc...

Went for a decent ride yesterday, and yes they are heavy in the tighter stuff, but getting there (fast dirt roads with lots of corners) was fun

Probably hard to tell from the pictures on the kawasaki site, but neither Sunbeam Red or Ebony has anything going for me

I had been successfully working on the Finance Minister for a blue one

Took this outside the dealer today while following up on ring replacement for my '08 (they are going to do it and replace the valve guide seals as well).

I thought the green was the best colour of the '08s - (my one is green) and thats the colour they're dropping.

Note to self. When fueling up at Windorah do NOT say "I'll see you later", "I had better get a hop along" or "See you around". You will just look like a prick in front of the locals and feel like a dick.
