Damn it, man. You have a Ural. You're not supposed to have fun.

Well done!

How did you feel after that 353 mile day? Couple of 300 milers in there too. No problems with the rig thats great. I am sure it was much more stable in the slippery slimy stuff. Nice lights.

I was EXHAUSTED after that day. Actually, the next day was the worst - even though I was much more stable in the slippery stuff, the hack wheel would often be pulled in a different direction that the front wheel...yanking me all over the place!

Spicy,

Friar came spooling by flying your chair on Sat morning, looked like a lot of fun. I took my R60/5 Globe through Hatchers last year, that was enough off pavement for both of us.

Welcome to the GRUVERS

So Spicy,
Did you actually really need to use the 2wd on your Gear-Up on your trip? Do you think the Tourist would make it?

A fellow Ural rider I ran into some months back told me of the tale of his ride up to Alaska and back on a '95 650cc Ural (1wd) with his wife in the hack and all their gear piled on. He had many adventures but no mechanical problems. He did strike me rather mechanically gifted, though.

Nope, never used it...never needed it. A Tourist would do fine.
