UK Riders Sign In Here Pls.

Hi UK Riders

If you found it to difficult to find an appropriate platform to introduce yourself on joining AdvRider, why don't you sign up here.

This applies to UK inmates already in as well.

So, let's see how many UK inmates there are out there.

To kick it off, I am from Oxfordshire and ride a BMW R1200 GS.

I also started new Ride Report on Iceland if anyone is interested.

Happy New Year to all & Safe Riding

Hello
I did find this site a little confusing looking for somewhere to say hello, pleased i managed to find this section.I'm Stephen, also from NE area of England, actually not far from you Beastman,im in Consett lol.My current fun stick is a MK2 Kawasaki Versys (pic, taken near Stanhope) which i bought new about a year and a half ago after having a good few years on sports stuff.Great little bike, plenty of shove low to mid range and can hold it's own against most stuff out there up to 100mph.

Look forward to getting to know a few people on here but i have to admit, there's a lot of members,it's a bloody huge site

I am in London. Ride an adventure prepped EXC 525 and have recently chopped in the R1 for a 690 as a second bike for longer travels. 525 is staying as an SM bike at the mo. Doing some of the BBRC events this year along with some trips to france/spain and hopefully morocco.

Hi,
Alan live in West Sussex and ride LC4 Adventure which I brought last year to complete in the BBRC and will have another crack this year, HUMM looks interesting this year in Morocco and also like the look of the Dirty Long Weekend Navigational Rallye in Skåne (southern) Sweden.

I am hoping to do both these too but the HUMM dates have been pulled from the Hubb calendar so not sure if that's still happening or if dates have changed. Would like to do the DLW to have a play with roadbooks

Howdo?

Name's Dave, living in Derby, and riding a 2009 Tenere. Bought two years ago with less than 3,000 miles on the clock, and now about to pass through 30,000. It's my daily commuter, touring bike, trail bike and BBRC race bike all rolled into one.

Been to the HUMM the last three years, 2009 on a borrowed DR-Z and then the last two years on the Tenere - photos above are from 2010 and 2011. Might be there this year if it happens, depending on dates, the original 'TBC' dates (that have now been removed from the website) clashed with a friend's wedding.

Made its racing debut at the Hafren last year:

Currently being prepared for a full year of racing with the BBRC in 2012, it's gained a set of WP48 forks which should help things along, but I need to rebuild them and sort out a few other niggles before the start of the season. It'll still be taking me to work, and on trips to France and the Lake District at least, hopefully a few more places this year as well.

See you out there.

Planning 2012 trips to Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova, late April/early May, hopefully meeting up with FinlandThumper if he's up for it and anyone else whose around, Malaysia whilst there on business in June then Portugal and Morocco and maybe down to Mauritania in September. Might try and do the road version of the HUMM en route if that's a happening thing.
