The thread pitch is not the same. The mirrors will not thread directly to the perch. The spacer must be used on my 2006. Its just a sleeve collar that slides over the 10mm threaded end witch is smooth on the OEM mirrors. But they work great on the bike.

So help me understand this...

I buy the mirrors and they come withe the 10mmx1.25mm mount for $30 each and i buy the clamps and dont like the clamps and now you want me to send you back the clamps that i paid for and the you will send me the mounts that i come with the mirrors that if i would not have ordered the the clamps????

I allready have the master cylinder relocator and was hoping that when i bought the mirrors that i was going to have options to mount where i wanted... when using your clamps it moves the mirrors to far inward for my liking and they wont mount in the stock holes to move them out a bit... so now they sit on the shelf... and yes i did buy the 280s...

And i can't promise i will never drop the bike ever again...

If you need to exchange your mounts or something , just get in touch with me.
I don't understand why you don't communicate and then gripe about it in public.

BMW still using the 10mmx1.5mm thread pitch for the mirrors ?
I'll try to get the 10mm pincer mount in house for the BMW's.
Pincer mount is the a 10mm smooth rod without the threads.

I have them on my HP 2 enduro as well, The oem are good, but they are a bit big, I used a separate perch due to the thread difference. You do have to be careful about over tightening them, I had one break at the threaded post and three others did the same, two on a 690 KTM and another on an HP2. I like them, actually broke the mirror on one but the threaded stock was fine. I used the mirror off the one the snapped. Worth the 29 bucks, I'd be interested in the BMW compatible stalk if you get them. The advantage of these mirrors is the ability to adjust them so the don't interfere with your wrist when standing, something you do a lot on the HP off-road.

The folding mirror on the GS1200 or HP2 is a good match.
I believe in the folding mirror concept...and the 280mm stems.
Btw, I had these which come with the compatible 10mm stalk ...
and I ran out...

235-325mm adjustable stem and Folding

Had to drop the beast in a rock section where I stalled it and had no place to put my foot down.... mirror cracked but stalk survived!

Thanks for the UL testing......If you don't lock the mirror down, it may fold
out the way when you drop. Another reason I don't lock mine down tight...

I've been looking for a more oblong style mirror to put on my Suzuki DRZ400SM. These look like the ticket! I know the zook mirror holes are 10mm but I don't know the thread pitch. Will these fit? Also, when do you expect to get some? Thanks.

I am going to Italy for my annual visit and there are some new rachet base adjustable mirrors for 2009. Press down and turn the mirror out of the way mirrors. I buy what I would use myself...

Convex mirrors are excellent to my eyes....
Folding 280mm mirror can angled forward and tilted back for an excellent rear view. If you don't mind a 100mm lollipop, this is a great functional mirror with lots of positions......

Trying to get out of here this week for Bologna Italy....

I will have these Ultimate GS Folding mirrors back in stock ~3 weeks.
The DRZ400 uses the standard 10mm x1.25mm mounts.
Also I have the very new alloy folding mirrors coming for $125/pair
It's similar to Rizoma, except they comes with the mount included.

I was looking for something to replace the stock mirrors on my KTM 690 enduro. The bars vibrate quite a bit making whatever I see in the mirrors "buzzy".

Do any of the mirrors that you sell Henri work better with vibrating bars? Thanks

I'll also be offering all 3 sizes of the KTM folding mirrors at the end of
March 2009 :

225mm : KTM SXC
243mm : KTM SXC
280mm : KTM Military

And All 4 mounts for to anything with handlebars :
10mmx1.25mm ( standard thread mount )
Handlebar Bar mounts
Pincer Mount ( BMW typically) with the 10mm and 8mm right hand thread perch mount
Pincer Mount Left hand thread for Yamaha and Ducati in 10mm and 8mm thread.

Is that confusing enough....now ?
