Sorry I didn't post up sooner. I got the rack last week but haven't had time to get out in the garage to install yet. I am really happy with the design and am looking forward to using it in the spring.

Thanks!!!

Now Available in Canada

Thanks to Zarks gentle nudging I'm now willing to ship Rack extensions to our brothers and sisters in Canada.

The shipping is more expensive and it takes a few more days (depending on location) but an extra $10 covers it.

Delivered cost in the USA is $95, Canada is $105.

Larger Size Now Available

Thanks everyone. After receiving a few suggestions I've decided to add a larger version of the Rack Extension. It is made of 1/8" thick 5052-H32 Aluminum and is powder coated the same textured black color as the original. It also uses the same Stainless Hardware (included). This version is the same width as the original, but is about 4" longer (front to back). The idea is to offer more surface area for bulky, light weight items. The cost will be $105 delivered in the USA.

I'm sorry, but I can't ship these to Canada in a cost-effective fashion.

Both Sizes are in Stock

I have both sizes in stock. I'll PM you my Paypal address and if you pay today I can send it out in tomorrows mail. Depending where you are (east coast / west coast) you should get it in 4-7 days. East coast is quicker.

If you need it sooner, PM me and we'll work something out.

Have fun on your trip!

i also have a dan vesel passenger pad & this rack. my wife tried all 3 positions and like it mount all the way forward so i then bought some stainless steel button nose bolts online & used those instead of the large dan vesel knobs.

this rack makes all the difference in the world properly supporting a medium size jos upac http://www.josupac.com/ the rear turn signals can now be seen and i used just 2 straps in the center of the upac (just outside of the passenger rest) to hold the whole thing. the side wings of the upac pac sit on the 35L (1550 pelican case) caribous http://cariboucases.com

i was riding solo and between my side cases & upac i could easy carry everything without the multi item strap all the crap on the back syndrom. my wife and i also tour with this setup & this rear rack has been key for supporting the whole package. the stock rear reack does NOT have enough surface area to support gear properly & the tie down points are limited.

IMO this is the best 2up tour solution and the extended one might even allow for another rear tube-style dry bag with maybe an additional sitting on top of the upac, for more gear.
