The best road-only tyre I've had on a trailie was Bridgestone BT45.

I'm gonna say "nope" the later model 800cc bike front disc won't bolt up to a 88 750. That bike (like mine) should have a 4 bolt pattern for the front disc, the 800cc bikes have 6. I just received a nice package from Stefan Hessler today. New air filter, fork seals, left case gasket and a new front brake disc.
I'd be helpful if you posted a photo of your bike. That way we'd know to what you are referring....and it would keep us from looking at photos of all of us. |

Maybe a different explanation (or a different Ray) can help (I'm a Mac guy so watch out...but still it should be mostly the same)
When you go to "direct link" in photobucket the URL (Uniform Resource Locator....that helped didn't it) gets highlighted. Depending on the application you are running it might or might not actually get copied. To insure you "copy" this URL hit CNTRL plus "C" on your keyboard...or take the mouse up to the top to "Edit" and click on "Copy" when that menu pulls down. Then go into the post you're writing, click on the yellow mountains a small box will open and ask you to insert the URL - hit CTRL plus "V" to paste the URL (that you copied from photobucket) into the little box.....or go back up to EDIT with the mouse and select PASTE when the menu pulls down this time. You should, in either case, see a lot of information appear in the box. A caution here. The little box that opens with the yellow mountain icon alread has "http://" inside it. When you copy the URL from photobuck it will ALSO have the "http" at the beginning. If you just paste it into the box you might end up with two and your message will look like this: "http:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/241880/IMG_0151-1.jpg" (note that there are two (2) "http" in this) If this happens, you won't get an image. All you have to do is delete on of the "http" Your message should look something like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...IMG_0151-1.jpg (without the underlining and there will be at the end. I can't put them in because then you can't see the actual way it looks in the text because it always results in the image below. .....and then when you post it you see this: ![]() .....whoops....wrong bike.... Hopefully this will help. It's not the computer so binning it isn't the answer. We'll get you through it, never fear. Ladder106 screwed with this post 04-14-2009 at 09:58 PM |

OK, back on topic.
Future upgrades I consider: - back wheel replacing the drum brake (seems its gonna be expensive) - rear suspension - touring screen (is this really worth it?) I have already: - stainless brake hose - handguards - zorst - indicators (very small but somehow legal) Anything else worth thinking about?

The magic of computers.....you don't HAVE to see the whole line to copy it....the computer knows what's there and will copy the entire part it needs. Making it blue is called "highlighting" The most difficult thing for craftsmen who work with their hands is understanding how sensitive the keyboard and mouse is. If you have a laptop, it's even worse. At first you have to be very slow and deliberate and do each step slowly. I've been teaching my firemen how to use a laptop so I understand when you want to just break the thing in half. My guys can break anything, cars, doors, walls, elevators (lifts),roofs, a little plastic box doesn't stand a chance....but you don't want to let it beat you. |
