And that not as easy as it looks wrestling the 180kgs of Big though the rocky river bed , Mine wanted to sink last time I tryed and boy did I gun it to make sure I got out ( obviosly in my case I had misread the softness of the river bed but the water roost was cool )

H/Guards

Thanks for the tips on polisport and venom.

Is there a common fit that comes with wind deflectors? I'm thinking I will not be off-roading the DRBig in the near future.

Any chance VStrom guards will fit?

my DR750S

feeling much better today about my bike. took the tanks off and they are now getting repaired and repainted. i don't think I'll be able to save the tank emblem. with the tank removed you can see that the frame and all other plastics are still in excellent shape. i was surprised that the BEAK and the tank cover were actually not broken in any way. the black rubber part that holds the tank is broken but i have a used one coming from germany, also got the original tool kit from germany. the rest of the bike looks very good no rust spots to worry about . we'll see how the tanks come out . while i was playing with it i grabbed the spare set of crashbars from the africa twin and they could be made to work, so i might end up using them .

The Beach is about 35kms long and when you get to the end its a bit like a little Sahara desert
