Hi Rob,
that was my first thought too when I saw the picture. I even said something like this to Iris before reading your lines. Jörn, my friend, measures about 2 meters and 3 centimeters. It seems that Simon standing on the ground (not sitting) over the bike still has air between the saddle and his ... er ... you know ...
Kind regards, Bambi ... envious concerning your possibilities for off-road-tours
Btw: I also patter the tank of my bikes after long runs, after a good run with bigger machines in the twisties (that's especially with the 400 cc Suzi-single) or coming out of difficult situations ...

Hello Rob, hello Simon,
am I allowed to 'steal' the picture of Simon standing beside the bike to show it to our German forum? For all your other pictures I'll place a link there. But this one might be a real good 'appetizer' ...
Kind regards, Bambi

Hello Rob, hello Simon,
thanks a lot! It's a pity, you're not just living next door ... what great parties we could have ...
If you want to see, try www.dr-big.de and have a look at 'Allgemein'. I'll post it with the title 'Big-Fríends in Oz'! If you have questions concerning navigation of the site feel free to contact me. Everybody else here's invited, too!
Kind regards, Bambi

hey Robmoto!!!!

i see you run without the rear carrier just handles..was wondering how you strengthened the subframe..on mine the carrier is used to tighten the whole up..i wouldnt think the rear fender would last too long with the weight of the subframe hanging off it..i like the look of just the handles

just trolled through you build pics...so that answers that question......no subframe

kyle screwed with this post 01-23-2012 at 01:28 PM Reason: answer my own question
