we can clearly () see that the wings are longer than the tube and fits the "notches" in the crank.

it looks awful, but it does the job.
good work :)

I wish I had the hardware/skills to weld! :)

it doesn't sound so bad but it has lots of rust holes and the exhaust goes every where except the muffler tip

or ask me :-) i do this job often! in my mind too much cables on a enduro bike, hihihi

and it is not so diffcult. all open cables from cdi should get +12v or ground. and it run very well

This is good information. Thanks very much for posting Radeki.

As I've previously mentioned, my 1989 SR41B is mechanically very good but cosmetically quite poor. I'd like to fix this over time but I find my search for parts very frustrating! Currently there are several items on E-Bay in Germany that I could use but the sellers will not ship to Canada.
I'd like to purchase an air box assembly, (mine was missing and replaced with a k & n). Two currently for sale but not available to me. As well, a red beak in good condition is listed but alas; will not ship to Canada.
I also need the left side cover, (red), left side of the rear parcel rack and both fuel tank trim pieces.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to have any help finding these items at reasonable cost.

thanks,

Relic

Thanks very much for the offer. Maybe we can work something out.
The problem in Canada is that Suzuki only imported the DR BIG here for 1988, 89 and 90. And total sales were only about 30 bikes. So there are no used parts here at all.

thanks,

Relic Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so sad. I'm not really too depressed yet...

Lazer Produro pipe

G'day all.

Just bought a NOS Lazer Produro can at a bargain price.
( I know, the badge is upside down, but I live downunder so really it's the right way up )

I'm now after the pipe (#6) that connects the can to the SR43A header pipe.

Clamps & stainless header pipe to suit would be good too.

PM me if you have any of these parts to sell.

Glenn.

DR800 for sale

My 1991 DR800 has to go. It sits in the workshop with my other bikes and gets started once a week to keep it lubricated and free. The 8700 km's on the clock are genuine. It comes with the personal plates and a spare set of completely rebuilt carbies plus a few other spares. It has new sprockets, chain and tyres. It is as new as the day it left the factory, complete with the original dual exhaust. Also have two brand new chrome Honda mufflers if anybody wants to convert it to a single system.
I want $6000 for it. If you are interested P.M. me. I am in Waroona, West Australia.

Cheers.

Hi Glenn,

A good custom muffler shop would be able to make up an appropriate connection.
