What is up with all the TOP BOXES? - Page 13

Ok so i just got a bmw 35l topcase for my r1100gs off craigslist. It didn't come with the mounting kit.. so anyone have any ideas on where i could get one (for cheap)?

I talked to my dealer, and they're going to have to order it from germany at about $100... i only paid 50 bucks for the top case, so i'd rather not blow 2x that on mounting hardware...

It looks fine to me as well and I've ridden/owned many dirt bikes....of course I'm 6'4" and 300lbs....a KLR650 is too much for many folks off road, but a 1200 isn't for others.

Did 4100 miles this summer loaded down like this and had no problem with handling at speeds up to 85. Case is a Givi E45 - wanted the nicer looking(?) E460 but the extra $68 was well spent toward the Wolfman Explorer Lite tankbag instead. A bonus is the Dry sacks make for an excellent backrest

Heres mine,

It gives the ST1300 that perfect overgrown scooter look. No high speed wobble.

On the side case, because the are integrated with the rest of the tuppeware, the bike actually looks better with than without.

So practical and the quick release of the Givi system makes it very easy to carry.

So i'm cruizin the Lowe's parking lot and I find this...

Milk jug bark busters.
Cellar window cover windshield.

Super high mirror extensions.(have to be able to see over the rubbermade)
2.5 Gallon Kitty litter accessory tool kit.
X-Large Skidplate / windscreen.

Rubbermade luggage tote.
X-Large custom plywood tail rack.
I'm sure there is more that i am missing...

Anybody else seen mods of this caliber? Lets see them..
