I plan on digging on their website too. Just figured you were familiar too so thought I'd ask.

I'm hoping to find some GPS files to some of the trails. we'll see. I'll keep you posted.

What's the weather like there in May?

I have a dual sported 2006 DRZ250 and after re-jetting, un-corking, the only issue I have with this bike is the close ratio transmission with the low road speed. I feel the stock 13/49 gearing is perfect for our single track here in Ohio. I often wondered if other versions (i.e Djebel) have a different 6th gear.

factory street drz250s/djebels from a 14/42 with 4.60 rear tyre
then you can try a 13t
it works well for me and my bike

also hear i a suzuki parts list for the drz250s on and off road

what did your final jetting turn out to be? What did you change in the airbox or exhaust?

I am in Newbury (east of Cleveland). My final mods were: #137.5 main, #15 pilot, shim needle .070", fuel screw std. 2 3/4 turns out (I have the California CV 32mm carb). I removed the snorkel, drilled a 1" hole next to it, and (3) 1" holes in side of right side airbox cover. Put in UNI vents in 1" holes. I also installed a UNI filter. Exhaust is stock except for grinding out header welds.

My 01 has the Yosh pipe and the stock MJ. I think it will be fine on top, but the low end is what I'm working on. Waiting on those jets to arrive.

I lose all patience for waiting once I order something......

yeah.....NO. Wrong jets. Don't ask me how I know......
the n224.103 are: OVERALL LENGTH = 26mm
THREAD PITCH = 4.0 x 0.7
TIP DIAMETER = 2.5mm.

The one my carb uses is the VM28/486. OVERALL LENGTH = 27.0 mm
HEAD DIAMETER = 5.0 mm
TIP DIAMETER = 2.0 mm

oh well. too cold to ride much anyway.

New order placed and patiently I wait. (Not) Am I the only one who begins looking out the window for the delivery truck just a few minutes after I order something?

Almost complete. I rode it today around the neighborhood and in the back yard some. Still need to replace the rear tire, fix the tear in the seat and do a couple of other odds and ends. For the most part though, it's ready to go. I plan on riding it in a local riding area on Monday for a shake down.

Thanks again for the headlight Edward. To me it makes all the difference in how it looks.

dr 125 speedo huh? is that a bolt on affair? I don't really need one for trail and off road riding, but I'd like to find something.

I wondered how hard it would be to make a DRZ 400 cluster work. Obviously it has more features than I need, but I see them for sale sometimes.

Thought about going with a Vapor but we'll see. I want to ride it some and see how badly I want it after that. Trying not to sink anymore into this bike.

Thanks for the info
