Derbi Terra Adventure: Thumper for the Youth
![]() 125cc, 15bhp, 10k rev limit, 120kg (30kg lighter than Honda's 125 varadero), but allegedly man-sized dimensions. Comes with hard alu bashplate and h/guards as standard and optional alu hard luggage. Tbh, this would seem to be a great bike for young riders (especially over here in Euroland), or - in these testing times of high fuel costs - as a commuter. The review in Trail Bike Monthly said it functioned OK off-road as well. 14L tank would do maybe 240 miles? ![]()

We will never see this in America
![]() I'm glad to see that Derbi is still an entity tho; I thought the corporation that bought it might have closed it down. I have a Derbi Senda SM -one of very few in the states I gather- and it's a hoot, though people look at you funny when you go screaming by on a tiny 2-stroke. You pretty much have to ride the thing like you're trying to kill it. micio screwed with this post 07-24-2008 at 05:28 PM |
